When we start thinking of summer at home, we think of the grill, beach weather, lawn games… and a tall, chilled glass of iced tea!
Here we have a collection of four of our favorite teas to be served iced. To us, they evoke the spirit of summers spent with friends and family, and some of our smoothest, most craved flavors. This bundle includes four small-sized canisters of:
China is steeped (pun intended) in history and fable when it comes to chá, or tea, as its country of origin. For the vast majority of the world’s tea drinkers, they’re not only referred to to Chinese tea when they speak of the drink, but of green and oolong varieties – not black, which became vastly more popular in the west simply because it could survive the long journeys of trade missions. The sheer diversity in these lightly oxidized teas is staggering, however, and each one truly unique.
Our Chinese collection contains prime examples of Imperial teas, the teas fabled to have been reserved only for consumption by Emperors across China’s history – sometimes referred to as the Emperor’s Ten Teas or China’s Famous Teas. Longjing (Dragonwell) and Liu An Gua Pian (Melon Seed) are greens of great contrast, comparing nutty sweetness versus a very floral, clean cuppa. Ti Kuan Yin (Iron Goddess) and our Mount Wuyi Qilan are drastically different oolongs, with the former revered aromatic drink that endures much resteeping versus a dark, toasty oolong featuring mineral elements and an underlying sweetness. It took a long time for us to come to an peaceful understanding with herbal teas. As habitual tea drinkers, a lot of common herbal blends were too overburdened with conflicting flavors and fruitiness for our everyday desires. In looking for ways to elevate African Red Bush tisanes like rooibos and honeybush, however, we found uncommon flavors and quality that really called out to our team.
This collection of herbal teas (also known as tisanes) have earned places of honor in our tea cabinets, as blends that accentuate the natural flavors of red bush teas… or represent the pinnacle of rooibos, in the case of our Organic offering. All of them are caffeine-free, are infinitely forgiving when it comes to steeping, and make excellent iced tea to boot! This bundle includes four small-sized canisters of:
These tea cozies are perfect for staving off the inevitable chill that chases all hot beverages! They perfectly fit our personal Bola teapot and most standard size mugs (they’re crocheted to be a bit stretchy, so worry not). Each cozy is made with thick Icelandic wool, which is naturally water-resistant and also a wonderful natural insulator.
Orders including tea cozies may take an extra couple days to ship, as these products are handmade!
Colors and styles vary – select your preferred color combinations below. Styles can be a solid or dual color design, with an option for a thin colored cuff on top.
A simple Tea Nest® tea infuser, made of cherry wood and handcrafted in Pennsylvania. We love these for their simplicity and ease – the stainless steel mesh tea basket is removable for storage and cleaning when necessary! This particular variety is cut to represent a tea leaf.
We’re giant fans of this particular FORLIFE teapot, especially when it comes to iced tea. Besides being made of lab glass for a wonderfully transparent display, the big infuser is perfect for steeping large leaf tea (and is easy to recover with its chain, unlike many tall pots). It works fantastic for sunteas and cold steeps as well, letting you steep your tea right in its final vessel!
This jug is completely dishwasher safe, and serves six cups of tea.

The overwhelming majority of the world’s tea is produced in India and China, and when it comes to black teas, India has the art down to a science. Artisan blends and single-estate offerings from the subcontinent are sought after across the world, and the major tea-growing regions of India are often household names even in tea-lite homes: Assam. Darjeeling. Nilgiri.
This collection truly illustrates the differences that process, location, and art can create from a single plant. Our featured Assam and Nilgiri teas are drastically different brews in the cup, contrasting a strong balanced cuppa with a bright, forgiving drink. As a high mountain grown tea, the floral and earthy Himalayan Golden shares many similarities with Darjeeling teas, in contrast to the explosive flavor and spice of Masala style “chai” (tea).
